Abruzzi
L 'Abruzzo is a region of central Italy predominantly mountainous and hilly, with a narrow low-lying area along the coast and valleys along the rivers. Because of this geographical climate is also varied on the Mediterranean coast and increasingly hard going inwards and towards the mountainous areas.
The fauna and flora are also very different, with rare species like the bear Marsicano, the Apennine wolf and the chamois d 'Abruzzo.
Historically l 'Abruzzo belonged to the "Kingdom of the Two Sicilies" and even today, from an economic, cultural and language is considered a region of southern Italy, although some of its provinces, especially along the coast, have a considerable development in the territory.
L 'Abruzzo is a region rich in natural beauty, but also history, cultural traditions and artistic works of which are testimony both in the cities, both in small villages scattered on its territory.
